Operation HHH Partners with Groton Sportsman's Club for Awesome Veteran's Hunt!

Operation HHH partnered with the Groton Sportsman’s Club of Stonington Connecticut to hold a Veterans Hunt. 18 Vets each day hunted over 8-10 dogs with handlers and safety volunteers from both organizations. In addition to great hunts, the veterans were treated to a multiple course steak dinner at the clubhouse with food donated by the local purveyors. Saturday’s hunting was terribly cold and inclement, and Sunday was a beautiful day for outside field activities and fun. In total, of the two days, we harvested 75 birds donated to the club via a Federal grant called The Pittman-Robertson Act.
